Job Description

Consults with clients and other project team members to design, build and manage websites. Develops installation programs for websites. May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures (i.e., SQL, C++, HTML, CGI and JavaScript). Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of Contractor staff. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.


CDHS requires a Web\Application Developer to implement a project is intended to collect information on potential interested foster parents. It is designed to be an inquiry form that can be created and data collected on an Amazon Web Services (AWS) site. The form will collect demographic information on the potential foster parents. Respondents will implement the following functionality: Collected information will be distributed to the appropriate Colorado County in an auto generated method based on the zip code provided. The form should be mobile optimized. The form should respond back to the submitter on status of the form.


4 month project.


Deliverables include:

1. Inquiry web form
2. Data storage of collected web form data
3. AWS site
4. Distribution of forms to the appropriate Colorado County
5. Phase II would include incorporation into the Colorado Child Welfare system.

Position Requirements


Minimum Requirements:

• 3+ years of .Net and ASP .Net and\or 1-3 years .Net Core and ASP .Net Core.
• 3+ years Entity Framework and\or 1-3 years entity Framework Core
• 3+ years HTML/CSS/Javascript
• 1+ Bootstrap Framework
• Familiarity with relational databases
• Deployed one or more applications on AWS
• Basic understanding of DNS/Routing/Firewalls
• Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university in information technology, computer science, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with Docker
2. AWS Certification
3. MySQL/RDS
4. Some understanding of Oracle database with hands-on experience

Preference for a local resource will be considered when evaluating candidates. Local candidate preferred.
