Fantastic opportunity for a Senior Accountant & Staff Accountant & AP Clerk to join our growing Dallas based Restaurant Company.
Background in Finance & Accounting for restaurants preferred.
We are looking for someone who enjoys and thrives as part of a high-energy, positively focused team to be our new Staff Accountant/ Sr Accountant/ AP Clerk The right candidate will demonstrate relevant knowledge and experience in a multi-concept restaurant organization with expertise in finance and accounting practices and procedures as they relate to the hospitality industry. The successful Staff Accountant/ Sr Accountant candidate will need to possess the ability to think strategically with strong organizational and problem-solving proficiencies, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. This position requires adaptability, flexibility, and leadership focused on teamwork with accountability in self and others. This is not just a management job; the right Staff Accountant/ Senior Accountant candidate will be willing and able to get into the details and do the work that needs to get done. It is important that the successful candidate mentor and provide professional growth opportunities for the Finance and Accounting team.
Additional Responsibilities:
· Direct and oversee all aspects of Finance and Accounting team, including evaluating outside accounting and auditing service providers and making recommendations for change as necessary.
' Review Balance Sheets and General Accounting responsibilities and Data Entry
· Understand, create and/or maintain and supervise accounting systems and procedures.
· Improve internal controls to ensure compliance.
· Precise and timely financial reporting and forecasting with continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives using the creation and analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts.
· Strategizing short and long-term financial objectives.
· Creation and analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts.
· Risk management to strategize for future growth.
· Cash management
· Prepare materials and initiate banking and private equity relationships.
Qualifications:
· Knowledge of Real Estate taxes, finances, accounting principles and typical HR policies.
· Be adaptable and flexible.
· Have strong teamwork skills and ability to lead with a high degree of emotional intelligence and ethics.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Finance/Accounting (preferred)
· Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in related role in relevant field
