IEP Therapy is seeking a dedicated Speech and Language Pathology Assistant to support the delivery of high‑quality speech and language services to students in school settings. As part of our Healthcare & Medical Services team within Educational Services, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to help students improve their communication skills so they can better access the curriculum and meet their educational goals. In this role, you will provide direct treatment following intervention plans created by the supervising SLP, implement individualized education program (IEP) goals, and collect accurate data on student performance and progress. You will assist with screenings, prepare therapy materials, and support both individual and small-group sessions, using evidence-based practices and age-appropriate activities. Collaboration with teachers, school staff, and families is essential; you will help carry over communication strategies into the classroom and other school environments, and communicate student progress and needs to the supervising SLP in a timely and professional manner. Documentation will be a key responsibility, including maintaining detailed session notes, data logs, and progress information in accordance with school, district, and legal requirements. You will follow all ethical and professional standards related to confidentiality, student safety, and scope of practice for a Speech and Language Pathology Assistant. IEP Therapy fosters a supportive and collaborative environment focusing on personalized care, professional growth, and empowering each therapist to make a significant impact, and you will be encouraged to engage in ongoing learning and best practices in school-based speech-language services. Working at IEP Therapy provides the opportunity to directly impact students’ educational experience while accessing resources for continuing education and professional development. This position is ideal for candidates who are organized, compassionate, and comfortable working in a school environment, managing a varied caseload, and adapting to the needs of diverse learners. The role typically follows the school calendar, with a generally full-time schedule aligned to school hours in a hybrid model that may include occasional virtual services or documentation time, depending on district needs. Candidates should bring a solid foundation in speech and language development, familiarity with IEP processes, and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary school teams.
