Oral Surgery Assistant

Salary Range: $19.00 - $23.00 Hourly

Position Purpose:

We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and team-oriented individual to join our Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery practice. The candidate needs to be professional, detail-oriented, excellent people skills, and passionate about patient care.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Provide chairside assistance during oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures
• Prepare patients for treatment and deliver clear pre- and post-operative education
• Panoramic and 3D x-rays
• Document treatment in practice management software
• Assist with surgical extractions, implants, biopsies, sinus lifts, and anesthesia administration and monitoring
• Maintain strict sterilization and infection control protocols
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure a positive patient experience
• Support overall clinical workflow to ensure efficient, high-quality care

Qualifications:

• Oral surgery, dental assisting experience and/or completion of a dental assisting program preferred
• Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task
• Strong communication skills, caring and compassionate

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
