Laser Engraving & Production Technician

Role Overview: We are looking for a precision-focused Laser Engraving & Production Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will be responsible for the permanent marking and etching of high-performance electrical connectors and components. This is a multi-functional role that supports the entire production cycle, from engraving to final packaging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Laser Marking: Set up and operate laser engraving machines to etch part numbers, serial numbers, and logos onto metal and plastic components.
• Technical Setup: Load graphics/text files and adjust laser parameters (power, depth, speed) based on engineering specs.
• Parts Preparation: Perform parts washing and cleaning to ensure surfaces are ready for engraving or final assembly.
• Mechanical Support: Assist with simple manual assembly and kitting of finished products.
• Quality & Packaging: Inspect all markings for legibility and accuracy; securely package high-value parts for shipment to ensure zero damage.

Requirements:

• Experience: 1+ years in laser engraving, CNC operation, or industrial part marking.
• Detail Oriented: Ability to handle high-value parts and follow strict engineering drawings.
• Versatility: Willingness to move between the laser machine, the wash station, and the assembly bench as needed.
• Reliability: Punctual for a morning start and a "team-first" attitude.

Job Details:

• Pay: $18 to $20/hr. (based on experience)
• Schedule: Day shift 7AM to 4:30PM - Mon-Fri with Sat as needed - Some OT
• PPE: Steel toes, eye protection
• Location: I10 and Beltway 8 Zip:77043

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $18.00 - $20.00 Per Hour
