LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected law firm to recruit a corporate associate for a full time role within the firms death care practice group. This position will function as outside general counsel to client companies and will involve a combination of corporate work, litigation support, and compliance and regulatory matters. The firm is seeking an attorney with at least two years of experience who is eager to develop a well rounded practice and support a unique and growing industry segment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outside general counsel services to client companies within the death care industry
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of corporate agreements and business documents
• Support litigation matters including research, pleadings, discovery, and case strategy
• Advise clients on compliance requirements and regulatory obligations
• Conduct legal research on corporate, litigation, and regulatory issues
• Assist with risk management, policy development, and corporate governance needs
• Communicate with clients regarding ongoing matters and provide practical business focused guidance
• Manage deadlines, filings, and case related documentation in coordination with attorneys and staff
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas to address the full spectrum of client needs

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree and active admission to the state bar
• Minimum of two years of experience in a law firm setting
• Background in corporate law with exposure to litigation or regulatory matters preferred
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to balance multiple assignments and adapt to shifting priorities
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with clients
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with legal research tools and Microsoft Office
• Interest in developing industry specific knowledge within the death care field

Pay Details: $72.00 to $82.00 per hour
