Are you a hands-on construction leader who thrives in industrial environments and takes pride in delivering safe, high-quality projects in the field?

We’re seeking a Construction Site Project Manager to serve as the single point of accountability on-site during industrial construction and installation projects across the U.S. This is a highly mobile, field-based leadership role where you’ll direct subcontractor crews, coordinate directly with clients, and drive execution from mobilization through commissioning.

  • Review engineered lift plans, rigging plans, and critical work procedures
  • Manage QA/QC activities including weld inspections (VT/MT), torque records, coating verification, and alignment checks
  • Support load testing and final commissioning efforts
  • Maintain daily reports, safety logs, progress documentation, and photo records
  • Identify and communicate field conflicts or scope changes to engineering and project management

What You Bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in industrial construction, structural steel installation, or heavy mechanical/material handling projects
  • Strong focus on client communications, subcontractor management, writing proposals and RFQ's, and managing inspection points
  • Proven leadership managing subcontractor crews and multi-trade field activities
  • Strong knowledge of structural steel erection, bolted/welded connections, crane rail systems, and alignment practices
  • Familiarity with AWS D1.1, AISC, RCSC, CMAA-70, AIST TR-13, and OSHA 1926 standards
  • AWS CWI or welding inspection experience preferred
  • Ability to read structural/mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and fabrication details
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with clients, engineers, and craft personnel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams for reporting and documentation
  • Ability to climb, crawl, work at heights, enter confined spaces, and operate in high-heat industrial environments
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively

Travel & Schedule:

  • Travel 75%+ of the year to project sites nationwide
  • Temporary relocation for project durations ranging from 4 weeks to 6+ months
  • Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (extended hours, nights, and weekends during outages or critical phases)
  • Per diem eligible while traveling

If you’re a field-driven leader who values accountability, safety, and delivering complex industrial work the right way, this opportunity offers strong compensation, nationwide project exposure, and long-term career stability.

If this sounds like your next move, let’s connect!
