POSITION SUMMARY

The Concessions Bartender-Event supports the Concessions Department by providing first-class quality services to all customers at BCPA and affiliated venues in order to maximize sales opportunities and create a positive, memorable experience for patrons while enhancing the image of the Performing Arts Center Authority (PACA) as a premiere performing arts center.

Qualified Concession Bartender will have:

• Schedule flexibility, evenings and weekends with a 4-hour minimum guaranteed.

• A passion for working in the hospitality industry.
• Successfully complete the Responsible Vendor and ServSafe Certifications.

A day in the life

• Showcase your impeccable customer service, your knowledge and enthusiasm for the bar menu
• Keeping the bar stocked and clean while always providing friendly and attentive service.
• Adhering to company standards for serving alcoholic beverages.
• Comply with all appropriate food and beverage safe handling and sale of alcoholic beverage requirements.
• Know the correct cost of items, charge accordingly, and manage the transaction to ensure accuracy of money exchange.
• Responsible for accurately clocking in and out for each shift.
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Able to lift and carry a minimum of 20 pounds and work standing on feet, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling and squatting for several hours.

Pay: $14 per hour plus a great opportunity to earn tips!!!

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School/GED or better preferred: General or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Experience and training in bartending preferred.
