Job Description

Hurst Workforce is actively hiring electricians at all experience levels for commercial projects across the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Whether you're a helper just getting started, an apprentice building hours toward your journeyman license, or an experienced journeyman or foreman — we want to talk to you.

We're a skilled trades staffing company that connects electricians with top commercial electrical contractors in DFW. We match you with a contractor, not a rotation. Our goal is a long-term fit, not a revolving door.

What We're Looking For:

  • Electrical helpers with basic tool knowledge and a willingness to learn
  • Apprentices (all year levels) actively working toward their journeyman license
  • Journeyman electricians with a valid Texas electrical license
  • Foremen with crew leadership experience

Not yet registered with TDLR? We can walk you through it — getting your hours counting toward your electrical license costs about $20 and takes a few days. Most helpers don't know this is an option. We'll help you get set up.

Pay by Experience Level:

  • Helpers: $16–$22/hr
  • Apprentices: $22–$30/hr
  • Journeymen: $30–$40/hr
  • Foremen: $40–$50/hr

Types of Work Available:

  • Commercial new construction
  • Tenant finish-out and renovation
  • Industrial electrical
  • Low voltage and high voltage systems

What You Can Expect:

  • Consistent, full-time hours (40 hrs/week)
  • Competitive weekly pay based on your experience level
  • W-2 employment through Hurst Workforce or direct hire placement with our contractor partners — depending on the opportunity and your preference
  • Placement with reputable commercial contractors in DFW
  • We vet every candidate before placement — that means contractors trust who we send, which means better job sites and more consistent work for you
  • A recruiter who actually answers the phone and keeps you working

Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation to job sites across DFW
  • Basic hand tools (helpers and apprentices) or full tool set (journeymen)
  • Must pass a drug screening
  • Valid ID and work authorization
  • Willingness to show up on time and work hard

Ready to Work?

Apply below or call/text us directly at (214) 833-1287 . If you're ready to work, we move fast.
