Job Description Niagara County Dental Office is looking for a Certified/License Dental Assistant/ Dental Front Office with experience to join our team! This position will be approximately 32-36 hours a week. Benefits include PTO, Long term care disability ins, dental benefits and 401k,
Dental Assistant Duties:
Set up rooms for all operative procedures
Turn over room in efficient manner.
Seat patients and obtain consents.
Stock/restock room with instruments prior to each procedure.
After each patient, sterilize treatment rooms, and instrumentation according to OSHA / CDC standards.
Assist Dentists with charting accurately
Assist Dentist during dental treatment procedures.
Dental Assistant Qualifications:
Certification in dental assisting or minimum 1 year dental assisting experience
Knowledge in dental terminology
Knowledge in Eaglesoft dental software
Familiar with digital technology
Candidate will need to communicate effectively with patients and coworkers
Ability to work independently
Self-motivated and articulate
Dental Receptionist Duties:
Dental Customer Service; acknowledge, smile and greet patients upon arrival/dismissal
Respond to patient questions and or concerns according to company Policies
Answering Telephones
Scheduling Appointments
Maintaining Full Appointment Schedule
Confirming Appointments
Follow up on no shows/cancellation of Appointments
Register Patients on sign in sheet
Scanning confidential Patient records into Chart
Dental ReceptionistQualifications:
Experience in all aspects of the Dental Office or Dental Assisting, including but not limited in Eaglesoft Dental software, and digital x-rays.
Candidate will need to communicate effectively with patients and co- Workers.
If not already experienced in both Dental Reception and Assisting duties, you will need the willingness to do so.
Social Media Marketing experience a plus!
