We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our litigation and appellate practice. This role is designed for a skilled advocate ready to handle a diverse array of civil matters ranging from the simple to the complex. Our attorneys have a track record of successful results achieved by honing their skills inside the courtroom and at the appellate level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Elite Legal Research & Writing: Conduct high-level legal research and draft persuasive pleadings, motions, and appellate briefs for a variety of practice areas, including Family Law, Business Law, Probate, Construction Law, and Local Government Law.
• Courtroom Advocacy: Represent individuals, families, and municipalities in various stages of litigation and trial preparation.
• Appellate Practice: Manage the appellate process, utilizing the firm's experience in seeking successful results in higher courts.
• Case Management: Oversee discovery materials, financial disclosures, and case summaries while maintaining organized digital document workflows.
• Strategic Client Counsel: Provide personalized legal strategies that address the most pressing concerns of our diverse clientele.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in civil litigation and/or appeals.
• Superior Writing Skills: Exceptional legal writing and analytical abilities are essential for drafting complex court documents and conducting detailed research.
• Legal Research: Advanced proficiency in legal research, including efficient use of major legal research platforms to analyze complex issues and support strategic litigation objectives.
• Education: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• Technical Proficiency: High proficiency with Microsoft Office, PDF tools, and case/document management systems (e.g., Clio, Smokeball, or MyCase).
• Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of handling confidential information with the highest level of professionalism.
