Barista Position

Position Purpose: Our Baristas will be responsible for executing the Starbucks Experience for Bashas' customers by providing customers with prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment.

Responsibilities: A Barista is a responsible, friendly person who can safely work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
  • Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
  • Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and the mission of both Bashas' and Starbucks.
  • Operating a register and accurately handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and change.
  • Assisting all customers by providing information and resolving any complaints.
  • Assisting with stocking shelves, facing, cleaning and dusting as needed.
  • Maintaining Safety and Sanitation standards throughout the store.
  • All other related duties as assigned.

Employees may occasionally experience the following physical demands for an extended period:

Standing, Sitting, Lifting + Stocking (Up to 50 lbs.), Pushing, Keyboarding, Telephone Use, Walking, Bending

Must be 18 years of age. Must be 21 years of age for any position that serves alcohol.
